Overview

The "2D Paketleme Izleme" browser extension is an internal tool developed for DHL Supply Chain Turkey. It monitors packaging operations on the DHL 2D Web system and logs activities for operational traceability.

Data We Collect

The extension collects the following data from the DHL 2D Web application pages:

• User activity: Button clicks (label printing), form inputs (order codes, barcode scans), and page navigation events within the DHL 2D Web system.
• Website content: Order codes, customer names, product codes, and scan counts displayed on the DHL 2D Web pages.
• Desk/Table ID: A manually configured identifier set by the operator to associate packaging events with a specific workstation.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (names, emails, addresses)
• Authentication credentials (passwords, tokens)
• Browsing history outside of DHL 2D Web pages
• Financial or payment information
• Location data
• Health information

How Data Is Stored

• Locally: All event data is stored in the browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data remains on the device and can be exported as JSON or CSV by the operator.
• Backend server (optional): If a backend URL is configured, event data is transmitted to a DHL-managed server within the corporate network and stored in a PostgreSQL database. No data is sent to external or third-party servers.

Data Retention

• Local storage retains the last 5,000 events and 500 sessions. Older data is automatically removed.
• Operators can manually clear all local data from the extension popup.
• Backend data retention is managed by DHL IT policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, transfer, or share collected data with any third parties. All data remains within DHL's internal infrastructure.

Scope

The extension only operates on DHL 2D Web pages (tristwsb310217.prg-dc.dhl.com and tristwsf310203.prg-dc.dhl.com). It does not collect data from any other websites.
